HI IM NEW TO THIS SO HERE GOES, IVE HAD MY PRINTER 15 MONTHS DIDNT GET EXTENDED WARRENTY,REGESTERD IT ONLINE AT EPSON.THE OTHER DAY I GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING PARTS IN YOUR PRINTER ARE COMING TO THE END OF THER SERVICE LIVE PLEASE CONTACT A SERVICE CENTER.DID THAT THEY KEPT IT FOR A WEEK WHEN I PICKED IT UP I NOTICED IT WAS DUSTY I THOUGHT THIS LOOKS LIKE ITS BEEN STOOD ALL WEEK.ANYWAY THEY CHARGED ME £25 FOR A SERVICE.SAID IT WILL BE OK FOR ANOTHER YEAR BLAMED PROBLEM ON USING COMPATABLE INKS,THEY SAID THEYV,E HAD HUNDREDS OF PRINTERS WITH SAME ERROR MESSAGE.WENT TO SHOP WERE I BUY MY INK CARTRIDGES FROM,THE GUY SAID ITS A CON THERES A COUNTER OR CLOCK BUILT INSIDE THE PRINTER PROBABLE IN A CHIP WHICH COUNTS THE INK CARRIAGE AS IT GOES LEFT AND RIGHT,GETS TO A MAGIC NUMBER THEN PUTS UP ERROR MESSAGE PRINTER IS ABOUT TO SHUT DOWN NEEDS SERVICE,SOLUTION THEY USE KEY BOARD TO RESET COUNTER TO ZERO TAKES 5 MINUTES AT MOST.DONT KNOW WHICH KEYS TO PRESS YET,WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS HAD SAME PROBLEM AND KNOWS WHICH KEYS TO PRESS.THANKYOU HOPE THIS GOES WHERE IT SHOULD ITS THE FIRST TIME IV,E POSTED ANYWHERE.HAVE ALREADY BUILT 5 PC,S AM GOING TO BUILD A WATER COOLED TOP OF THE RANGE PC FOR MYSELF IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS.

I have an Epson RX600 - Looking at "Error Messages" in [MANUAL]!! There is the exact same: - "Error Wording" - !!

Needless to say - THAT I AM NOT HAPPY TO SEE THIS!!
