My friend gave me his 64 when he got an xbox AND game cube for christmas (LUCKY DUCK)

He gave me mario 64 along with a few other games. I have most of the stars, but I cant get up on "Big Boo's Balcony"

Any hints?

U have to go to the same spot where the gaint eye is,
Go on the balcony, Boo should appear pound the ground
3x facing away from him after he his beat long jump
to the roof and the star will be waiting.
