1. Download L2mfix from

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option 4

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

2. Boot into safemode to do this keep tapping F8 on your keyboard while your PC is starting up you will get a menu select safemode.

3. Open Hijackthis click open the misc tools section > check mark List also minor sections (full) and List empty sections (complete) then click generate Startup list log.

4. Reboot and post the startup list log here in a reply.

Extract WinPFind.zip to your c:\ folder.

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode

Then open c:\WinPFind and double-click on WinPFind.exe. When the program is open, click on the Start Scan button to scart scanning your computer. Be patient as this scan may take a while. When it is done, it will show a log and tell you the scan is completed. Reboot your computer back to normal mode and and post the contents of c:\WinPFind\WinPFind.txt as a reply to this topic.

the winp find is a dud or something, i downloaded it and when i opened it and a box came up saying file not found, and then when i hit the start scan button it said "access violation at blah blah winpfind.exe blah blah" i tried downloading it again but the same thing happened when i opened it.
