Hi,

jut wondering is wdfmgr.exe supposed to be running even when I am not using WMP10?

If not what can I do to insure that it will stop with I close media player?

wdfmgr.exe is a WDF (Windows Driver Foundation) Component
Are u using WMP to transfer music into a portable MP3 player?
If not, follow the steps below to to disable WDF.
Start->Run. Type "services.msc". Press Enter.
In the right-pane. Double-click on "Windows User Mode Driver Framework"
In its properties dialog, change the StartupType to Disabled.

Windows User Mode Driver Framework and wdfmgr.exe are the one and same, wdfmgr.exe is the process name of the former.
All i know about it, is that it helps Windows Applications (like WMP) transfer music to ur portable MP3 Player.
U can disable it (as i told u in the previous post), if u are not using WMP to transfer music to ur Portable MP3 Player.
