Hi,
i had to format in drive the other week, and the standby button when closing the laptop down was inactive, I reinstall the xp disc standby button OK but now the start icon on the task bar is fuzzy but still works, does anyone know what is going on.
please help

The standby button usually becomes inactive, when a driver installtion needs u to reboot. It should have become active after the reboot.
