I installed a wireless card in a client's desktop and noticed that pages load very very slowly in IE. Usining my laptop on the same wireless network the pages load very rapidly on my laptop. My first goal was to update my client's desktop to SP-2, but the slow down in IE makes this difficult. I have deleted all the Temporary Internet files, and this has not solved the problem. I do not think this problem existed before I installed the Wireless card, but can not be sure because they were using a dialup line for Internet access.
