Please help... anyone !!

I had the above viruses on my PC, I have Norton 2005 and I have deleted them from my system, but something has obviously been left behind because everytime I log onto the internet I get lots of pop ups and sometimes something tries to download automatically.

I also have Ad-Adware SE but I still don't know how to remove these pop-ups. Is it possible to send you a list of running processes through Ad-Adware to enable you to find the problem? If so how do I do this?

To be honest I am not sure how to slove the problem now because I thought it was sorted when I deleted the viruses but this was obviously not the case.

PLEASE HELP !!! :tazz:

Click here to download HijackThis by Merijn Bellekom. Doubleclick the file, click Unzip and extract the application to C:\HijackThis. Run it from there to scan your computer.

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All and post it here for examination. Don't fix anything yet as most of what it lists will be harmless.

Still getting the pop ups as I write :tazz:, tried several anti-spyware programs without success.

So followed your instructions and scanned with "HIJACK THIS" let me know if you find anything - Thanks again. !!

Click here, for instructions on how to enable hidden files and folders to be visible. After enabling, find, zip and send this file:

c:\ex.cab

to this e-mail address including a link to this thread in the body of the email.

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

Followed your instructions to the letter, could not find the file....

c:\ex.cab (I looked everywhere for this file and could not find it).

Therefore I could not send it you, but I did delete the entries from the Hijack This scan as you stated and up to now that seems to have done the trick. Heres a new log scan here, do I have the all clear?
