Just got a Toshiba Satellite A75, 6 months old, from a friend. It overheats and shuts down as most others while playing video games and such. I just want to know how I could open it properly to clean the fans and maybe add some Heat Sink Compound. So any instructions on that would be wonderful, thanks.

First off, have you actually checked the temperature of the CPU & system when you are playing games on it?

What sort of surface is the laptop normally on when you use it (eg a desk, your lap, etc)?

You should see a vent somewhere on the case, check to see if this is dusty or clogged up in any way.
