XP media edition vs creative zen xtra mp3

Hi there

I have a Creative Zen Xtra 60gb portable MP3 player that will not communicate with my PC XP Media Edition.

I am told by Creative that drivers have not been made yet for XP Media Edition. I am not a tekkie so do not know if this means that I have to wait for THEM to come up with new ones, or if someone here knows how to get round it with something else that will do the trick.

If I am saying something really stupid and the response from you guys is to just wait, please go easy on me as I am not the sharpest tool in the box with PC stuff.
