I know the hard drive is 20gb. How do I go about finding out who the manufacturer is? Thanks

Go into Device manager and click on Disk drives. It should list the manufacture, and possibly the model number.

hi,
im having the same problem also. when i run chkdsk, they say i hav one or more unrecoverable problems, i tried fixboot it worked, but i couldnt restart, cos i had another error <windows root>\system32\hal.dll. Also, my partition is unkown in recovery console so i jz get C:/>, is there any other way that i can repair my harddisk?plz reply asap, thks. :tazz:
