Dear G2G,

I reported earlier today a problem I was having with IE and a hijack/virus problem on my system. Since then I have tried to reboot my computer in Safe Mode using msconfig and it would not load. Now my computer in not getting past the initial Windows XP loading screen no matter what mode I try and start in.

The screen goes blank and the computer does not seem to be loading.

Suggestions,

A really frustrated user

P.S. Is there anyway I can at least retrieve the files that are saved on my hard drive?

Thanks in advance.

You can put the hard drive in another computer to copy the files from that hard drive to another. (Make sure that you set the jumper of the hard drive that is going in to Slave)
