My computer has become very slow. Recently because of some virus attack, I had to get windows reinstalled. I am using a broadband connection. I have tried to run some of the tools available on the net but it has not helped. Is there any software available which is free that can be run and help me in sorting out this problem. AVINASH

Have you updated the Windows yet? I suggest you start with Internet Explorer. Did you defragment the drive after you installed Windows? That helps speed operations up.

In case you are looking for a good FREE antivirus i'd recommend AVG or Panda.. uhmm btw do you have any bad sectors?
