Yeah I beleave that. There is always some one aout there that need to push the limits with new O\S's and software it, I think it is to see if they can prove microsoft wrong.

Well, microsoft has shipped windows vista to a variety of hackers and virus writers, although they may not know it, so this is not surprising at all
With microsofts reputation close to tatters, many people have been trying to find critical flaws to downgrade microsoft and the new release as tony said, in my opinion, this is something that microsoft will never be able to fix

Well its true aye, you really think about it. Microsoft said that windows XP is supposed to be secure, if this is the case, then why are there people out there still having trouble to beat all the security treats out there?

It's a beta. Finding bugs shouldn't be all that surprising/hard.

By the way, this is being typed on my very own Vista system. It's ... different.

My company has an MSDN membership and it's a free download (3.3 GB or so, but free) to members.

Same way Pieter got his, I believe.

All MVP's were invited for testing Vista.
That's how I got it.

We are drifting off-topic a bit here, but it took me two years and about 30,000 posts.
Your mileage may vary. :tazz:

Well vista is in beta, correct?

Either way, I didn't expect microsoft to suddenly *care* about us, and work a little bit on security.

Ehh I wonder if vista is floating around any p2p networks :tazz:
