Hi there,
I would appreciate any help you could offer. :tazz:
I went through all of the steps in the Malware removal from clean up through Windows update. I thought everything was working better but soon started getting popups from McAfee with PUPs, sometimes a dozen at a time. I went through the cleaning process again and found just as many bad files etc. as the first time. The one that seems to keep appearing has to do with Windows system volume. The online scan Trend Housecall found the problem and said it couldn't be cleaned. ;)

I'm going to post my log here and would so very much appreciate it if someone could look it over to see if there are any issues.....
thank you in advance!!!

Hi Arugula, welcome to GeeksToGo

You have some infections we have to take care of. First, download and run this tool to get rid of KeenValue:

Update your Ewido to latest definitions.

Boot into safe mode:

Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Go to Control Panel Add/Remove Programs and uninstall these if found:

ACNielsen
MyPoints_PointAlert

Make sure you can view hidden files and folders:

Next click on My Computer.
Go to Tools > Folder Options.
Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and "Hide extensions for known file types."
Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK"

Navigate to and delete these files and folders in bold if found:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\itwhmwrd
C:\Program Files\Visual Networks\Visual IP InSight\SBC\IPClient.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\jrokvj.exe
C:\WINDOWS\mfsp.exe
C:\Program Files\ACNielsen
C:\WINDOWS\system32\lekqivb0.exe
C:\Program Files\hp center\137903
C:\Program Files\Common Files\updater
C:\Program Files\MyPoints_PointAlert

Make a scan with Ewido and save the report.

Reboot to normal mode.

Go here and make an online scan. Let it remove what it can and save the results.
