Hi !

Got XP Pro (sp2) with Norton NIS 2005.
picked up a dialer by mistake - rolled back to a good system restore point, installed Giant Antispyware trial tool and everythings fine except......

I cannot see any adwords at all on google. It's as if they are being totally blocked.
Turned off ad blocking in NIS 2005 to no effect.

My laptop's running win98se thru same broadband router (no norton) sees them all with no probs.

Anyone experienced this before and got their wanted banners and ads back again?
any help would be appreciated

You want ads and banners? That's a first.

There's definately something blocking them. When you did the system restore did it restore a program you may have removed? I'd try lookig through add/remove programs.

Yep, I thought that would upset the applecart a bit!!

I'll have a look at the add/remove as you've given me an idea - that is when I can get near the machine.
