What happened to the Google Search that was on top of each page? It magically appeared one day, and now – poof! ?
–It is a good tool –

1) Too much of the screen was being taken up by non-forum information. So, we removed the Google search, and also made the header a little smaller. We can't remove the ads, they pay for the site. :tazz:

2) When used to search the forum, it wasn't always up-to-date, as it only returned the results that Google had spidered. For instance, if someone was looking for a topic they recently posted, they like wouldn't find it. The forum search is much more powerful, and works better. We may find a way to integrate it better in the future.
