Hmmmm I've been hosting my own website for a few years- all of the sudden my webpage loads yet comes up blank- This was shortly after messing with my services in the msconfig.

I panic and reinstall IIS... Now its been soo long I can't tell if I'm just not setting it up right or if there really is a problem.

Sooo Now ALL my microsoft services are running; (all are started)
IIS 'is' set to automatic
I have ran sfc /scannow
(this is supposed to check and repair any damaged windows .exe files)

In the iis window all it says is CATSJAM (local computer)
I click on that and I can't figure out how to see the default website icon again...

I click on properties and all it does is bring up a box that says:

(checked box) Enable Direct Metabase Edit
Allows you to edit IIS metabase configuration file while IIS is running.

Please tell me how I get my default website to show up in the virtual directory again...

The only thing thats funny is like i said before;
(iis gets a generic "ERROR" message {no description} when I try to restart it from inside IIS.)

Grrrr I wanna get my website up and running again plz help!!!
