everytime I try to download an application like ad-aware I get a message that says it would not work. I suspect that I have an infection on my computer, but I have no way of scanning because I do not have any spyware removal programs already installed on my machine. Pretty much I'm in a catch-22. What should I do? I read the mandatory thread but didn't see anything that could help me. Thanks in advance for any help.
