I did a virus scan of my cpu a week ago, and it was fine. Did it again this afternoon, and now it says that it has the java_bytever.r virus and the remove failed. I Googled it and found nothing as far as removal instructions.
I haven't noticed any problems with the computer yet but I probably just got this very recently. On the Microsoft website it said that java_bytever.r is an extremely hazardous virus but link to removal instructions led me in circles and circles. Please help if you can ASAP! Thanks so much.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
