Good morning, When I open Windows Explorer the directory tree is no longer there, the torch comes on and starts to rebuild the tree, which takes ages. Come out of Explorer and we start all over again.

I have searched the net for an answer and the response has said that is is a corrupt hal.dll file.

Is this correct?

The system works fine otherwise, I just can't use Windows Explorer.

Many Thanks for your assistance

If this is a recent problem, and you know when it began try a system restore to a good date. Post back whether it works for you, or not.
