Hi, I'm new here and a complete teccy turd to boot.

I can follow idiot proof instructions but believe me they really have to be written for someone who's penultimate pc capabilities are turning it on and surfing the web.

Onto the subject matter.

Have the Aurora problem and have been trying to fix it as per your detailed instructions elsewhere (tis how I found you). My problem is Nailfix.exe. I downloaded it but when I unzipped it all I got was nailfix.cmd and Process.exe. Thought nothing of it, booted into safe mode (wqhich I am now a flippin expert at) tried nailfix.cmd and Process.exe and neither install/run it.

Now I have downloaded nailfix.exe several billiuon times from various sources and each time its the same. Unzip it and I just have the two options previously mentioned.

Is this because I only have the evaluation version of Winzip?

I'm broke so can't afford to pay for anything.

Know anywhere I can d/l an unzipped version?

OK, before I post the log I'd best tell you that I've already run ewido and it got rid of 70 traces of aurora and abetterinternet. Hope that ain't gonna be a problem.

My main prob has been finding an unzipped copy of nailfix.
