I have been trying to download a conference room from Audio/Video Conference Software. I get 2 notices, one that says the server cannot be found, and the other is that there is a thread error, the parameter is incorrect (87) , this is a new compter to me, my old one had no problem with the conference software. :D Please can you help me? I am not very computer savy, older woman learning computer. I did download Tuneup Utilities, but that still hasn't addressed the problem. Any help will be welcomed. <_< :D

Was your other computer a 98SE?

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
