Was your other computer a 98SE?
Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.
Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

Hi there, I will try to do this again because I am now constantly getting microsoft internet explorer has encountered a problem and need to close notices. Since I wrote last and before I got your email I deleted windows and reinstalled. I downloaded all critical update I have Zone Alarm running, Spy Sweeper and McAfee Virus Scan going, now I have this problem. The error signature is this...appName:iexplorer.exe (whatever that is) and blah, blah, blah. Can you help me please. I am hurrrying to write this just incase I get another microsoft internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. I have at least 12 in 2 hours of being on the computer. Help Please..thank you Kamala
