IE problems [resolved]

I never really tried starting with IE before now.
I was able to click IE after signing onto aol and browse with IE (which seems to be necissary to download windows updates.

NOW
If I click IE after signing onto aol I only get "p age cannot be displayed"

If I click IE before signing onto AOL. IE initiates AOL I can then browse with aol but not IE. (actually as explained previosly I can visit the exact same web page with IE as is currently viewed in AOL.

I also just downloaded firefox. It says something like connection refused due to proxy settings. Try reconfiguring proxy

I think I found the problem - created new user - problem gone.
