This is the response from thatman:

this can happen if transfering infected file's from one computer to any computer on a net-work.

I.e
Floppy disks
cd-rom disks
memory sticks


I is allways best to scan the computer that has just been conected to the net-work first before you transfer file's.
That is a fault with larger net-work's they only protect the outside world but fail internally.
