I recently installed the Pinnacle Studio 9 QuickStart software on my computer (XP Sp2).
Now on every startup I get the pop up messages that Windows Installer is preparing to install SmartSound Quicktracks Plugin, but it quickly also inidcates it cannot find whatever it needs to do this installation. I do not recognize the plugin its trying to install, I did not direct it to install this feature (at least as far as I know...). I know from the Pinnacle Studio 9 help info that this plugin is associated with it. How can I cancel the Installer's preparation and attempt to install this... everytime I boot up the computer. {I considered trying to find out whether I could just go to Pinnacle's site to buy the feature, if that would get rid of the repeated futile Installer attempts!}
Thanks for whatever assistance you might offer.
