I'v recently posted a hijack log in the virus/trojan section of the forums, and that has helped me a great deal in sorting this laptop out. I'm now still stuck with a very slow shutdown with windows xp. To be honest i thought it would be a software issue, but i'm now thinking this is hardware. The computer seems slow all round, despite it being a 2.8 .

Any advice on this would be apreciated!
