If it gave you the option of to enter when you put in #4, then you should have.

You should only have 1 software firewall running on your computer. From what I can see you have 2, maybe 3? Same goes for Active Antivirus scanners.

Run this online virus scan: ActiveScan - Save and post the results from the scan!

Ok, running the Panda scan now. this should take a while.
Should I turn off the extra firewalls and/or antivirus now?
I have downloaded so many antivirus/antispyware/anti-adware in the past two weeks that I don't even know all the things I have running anymore.

Its allright to have more than one Anti-spyware download. They aren't normally scanning all the time. Having 2 firewalls will casue conflicts and use large amount of resources as will 2 anti virus programs. I suggest you only keep one of each and unistall the others using add/remove programs in your control panel
I would do this before running the scan.

Sorry if this sounds kind of stupid, but can you tell me which programs I should be removing? I know the XP service pack 2 has a firewall. I suppose I should continue to use that firewall.

Looks like you have zonealarm and PCChillin for firewalls and possible Norton. You want to use one of those 3. Which ever you feel more comfortable with. You don't want to use the Microsoft one, it doesn't offer has much protection.

What ever your choice is. If you have the norton one, probally better to keep the package.

Great job, it appears your computer is clean :tazz:

Ensure you rehide your “hidden files and folders” back to the way they were.

Now that your system is Malware Free, it is important to reset your system Restore. Click Here to learn how to.

Might I suggest the following Free Spyware programs, if you don't already have them, for added security, you can download them at the following links. These programs work great for detection:

Ad-aware SE
Spybot S&D
Microsoft Anti-Spyware


If you are unhappy with your current antivirus and want to replace it or if you dont already have one, I suggest one of these free programs:
*Note - do not use more than one anti-virus program as it will more than likely cause conflict.

AVG
Avast
AntiVir


The following free programs are great for prevention:

SpywareBlaster 3.4
Spywareguard
IE/Spyad

A Firewall is a must! Here are 3 good free versions:
(do not have more than one firewall running on your system)

Sygate
Kerio
ZoneLabs

There are other options other than Internet Explorer for a browser, which some say have better security. Two of them are:

Firefox
Opera

If you decide to keep Internet Explorer, This site is a great source for tightening up security on It's settings.

Make sure that you keep your Operating System and IE updated with the latest Critical Security Updates from Microsoft...they usually come out once a month, on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Be sure and give the Temp folders a cleaning out now and then as well, Make sure after you clean your Temp files to empty out your Recycle bin as well.
For ease use the following program:

Cleanup
Run "Cleanup" and when it has finished, Reboot

To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Tutorial and use the tools provided. Also read How I got Infected
