Weird Video colours.

Hope you can help me. The other day I downloaded VLC media player and I wnted to watch some videos.... It all went well until I wanted to watch another one (don't remember which) and the colours went all crapy (like if it was on another resolution or something). When I tried to see the video in another player (winamp or WMP), it looked just the same.

Messing around, I saw that if I opened the file in WMP, then stopped it and then opening it with winamp, it looked OK. What the [bleep] is going on ? What did I do ? Note that I never changed resolution (currently 1152 x 854) or the color quality (currently 32 bits) or anything.

Please help me.
