Hello:

I am in the middle of building a new computer system. The ASUS motherboard I have has the VOICE POST REPORTER where a voice tells you what is happening during the boot process. In addition, it verbally describes any errors that may arrise as opposed to hearing those silly little beeps that you have to decode. At any rate, the new computer case I have doesn't have an internal speaker. I'm sure I can get one for really cheap, but can't seem to find one anywhere. I'm racking up a new order right now at Newegg, but can't find them there either. Can anyone suggest anywhere Online or Offline, where I can purchase an internal computer speaker?

Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

magus

A voice im not sure if that will work on your bog standard beep speaker but most computer shops will have one, my local one usually just gives you stuff like that rather than charging its how you get extra screws when you run out.

I found a website that sells case speakers, but they have a $10 minimum purchase policy. I would think it's better for them to take my five bucks and make more in volume than try to sell me other "un-needed" items and have me buy nothing. I'll take your advice and check some local stores.

I was really just hoping to combine that with my current order at NewEgg, but they don't have case speakers.

In addition, my research since this morning is making me feel as if I don't even have to have this case speaker for my software to work. I've posted another question about this issue on the OS/XP section of this forum to confirm.

Thanks
