I have a nice large computer with 2 IDE ports and 2 Serial ATA ports, my One HD is a 250 G and my new one is a 300 G I also have 3 DVD drives, 2 burners and a Normal drive. as of right now 2 of the DVD drives go into the secondary IDE port and one of the HD's goes into the Serial port. The other DVD burner and Hard drive involve my question. Can I put on the IDE cable the DVD burner as the Master and the HD as the slave and not have any probelms or would I need to Reverse the order and put the HD as the master and the Burner as the slave. I use this second HD as storage right now and not for the operating system, please let me know, thanks.
