save ur money now... Later buy a new motherboard with PCI-e n another 512 mb of RAM also get a ATi Radeon 9800 SE for 100 bucks on Newegg.com not bad... orr a GeForce 6800 also on Newegg. Make sure the memory u have now would run in the new motherboard so u can have 1 GB the only reason y I'm telling you to get a PCI-e capable motherboard is becuase in years PCI-e is the only thing gonna be made for video cards n u get better video quality on them specially the ATi Radeon X850 xL Pro woo!! also yea add some fans too that'll be good and maybe a new Power supply if yours is kinda small on Watt size

They have stopped making new agp cards now so pic-e is a good idea for the future at the moment though you can pick up good deals on agp cards as they try to clear the old stock of the cards.

It wont hurt to try what your friend said but i dont know if it will work.

It can be your videocard and memory both.

http://www.pcvsconso...features/video/

link to videocard speeds, it lists yours its only 6.4 gb bandwith..

with that card you should set everything at low settings

Agreed. Hyperthreading has caused alot of problems with BF2. That should help.
