I tried some of the stuff that you said to try and still nothing works. I hope someone can help me.
I will post what I posted in the other forum again:
have a semi-old Gateway system and everytime I try to run a program such as, Lime Wire, iTunes or any other program. It tells me it " [insert program name].exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. Please restart the program." Although with IE it tells me that is had inquired an error but it restarts by itself and it works, although initially it gives me an instant error. I tried to restart said programs and my system many times, but still it gives me the error. I had just shut down my computer today for the first time in a while and when I turned it back on this started happening. This never happened before I shut down today.
Also on a side note; Does anyone know how to turn off the little message that asks if I want to open something (from a folder) "from this location"? It gives it to me everytime I click on a file I want to move or delete, basically everytime I right click on something stored inside a folder.
