I have recently decided to upgrade my pc in order to run more recent games, Everquest II in particular. I currently have an HP Pavilion 751n which still has the stock hardware installed. I plan to upgrade my RAM to 1Gb and install a better video card to my system. I would like to know of any vital information needed in purchasing components which will be compatable with my PC and run Everquest II smooth with decent graphics output. A co-worker recomended a Radeon 9600 XT or X600 as a good choice for a video card. Will these be compatable with my pavilion?
Secondly, I have been told that my pavilion is very picky on what chipsets will work with it. Any information regarding what the memory chipsets must require is much appreciated. <_<
