When I boot up my laptop, which unfortunately had Norton turned off for a few days, now I first get the error: Error Loading C:\WINNT\Cfgmgr52.dll The specified module could not be found.

Then any program I try to turn on gives me the error message, "program name" has generated errors and must be restarted.

I did scan my system with Norton Antivirus and found there were 90+ threats and other stuff. Something is messed up!

You can get this here

http://www.dll-files....shtml?cfgmgr52

I would run these

http://www.pandasoft...n_principal.htm

http://housecall60.t.../start_corp.asp

And then go here

http://www.geekstogo...-Log-t2852.html

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log to the malware forum

If you can run the computer then run malware checks with Ad-aware and AVG free which to my opinion are the best of the lot. If you can't run any program or malware check didn't help, I would consider a repair installation of windows. That's easy if you follow the pinned instructions at the top of this forum.

Good luck
