I am trying to set up e-mail accounts to use directly from Outlook Express. I have an existing account from Roadrunner that I would like to use; but I no longer use Roadrunner as my service provider.

When setting up the account I enter both the Incoming and Outgoing servers correctly. However, I can receive messages but cannot send them. I have heard that Roadrunner does not allow 3rd parties to send through their server. Is there a way I can get around this (i.e. another Outgoing server I can enter)?

Thank you in advance...

typically you have to check the box for "authentication" for outgoing mail.

So even if I am a third party e-mailer, would rr.com work for the domain for outgoing mail?

If so, what do I need to do besides "authentication?"

Thanks...
