I just encountered this problem after installing what i thought was a photoshop plugin I downloaded through P2P. Try going back to a previous restore point in system restore before this happened. That fixed it for me. If that doesnt work then download some anti spyware software. The best i have ever used is called ad-aware. You can pick this up for free at www.lavasoft.de. They have a professional version you can pay for but the free one works fine. If none of this helps then you can always turn dr watson off.

goto,start,run,type regedit
tha follow the route listed here
Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug
Name: Auto
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0 disable
Value: 1 enable

make a back up of the registry in edit than click export before making changes.

making changes to wrong things in regedit will cause computer to be unbootable so put back ups in easy to find folder from safe mode.

If none of this helps refer to this thread.

Disregard what I wrote before. I thought it was gone through system restore but it was not.

I ended up deleting the regestry key instead and now everything is fine.
Heres the microsoft support page with the instructions I posted above.

Hi OR. When I asked for the entire log, I meant that I need the entire Hijack This log. It should have what machine you are working on, etc., and the date and time you did the scan. Until we get that, we can't work on your problem. Sorry for the confusion. <_<
