I am visiting my parents, my brother has a wireless network set up here. When I came last month, my laptop, a Dell Dimension 9600 worked fine. However, since I came back again yesterday, everytime I connect it gives me the "Limited or no Connectivity" message despite having full-strength signal. Of course, the difference now is that my brother's lap top is connected to the network too, (I am using it right now).

I have tried uninstalling my wireless card and turning the network and modem off, but it has done nothing. When I try to repair the connection it says that it cannot renew my IP address.

I have a feeling that I am missingi something simple here, but I have tried a lot, can cannot figure it out.
