If not, when the computer locks up, hit CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up the task manager. Select the Processes tab and see if there is a process which is taking up 98%-100% of the CPU utilization.
It may take a little while for the task manager window to pop up

I tried this but due to the freeze i can only hit the reset botton.

When watching a video is it in your browser or and external application, like WMP or Quicktime?

The problem may be with IE.
It might not be IE,i closed IE and went to aol without IE then went to yahoo games and it froze should i still try mozilla?
