It used to be that our Anti-Virus, Spyware, etc. worked like a charm. Just recently, however, our computer's been plagued by an onslaught of formerly "unworthy opponents" that are running a muck. Somehow, the program no longer does its job as well as it used to and even viruses such as the Trojan Horse have slipped through and set up camp. Unlike ususal, the viruses simply reboot when we reboot the computer whereas befroe they were completely deleted upon detection in our files. PLEASE HELP! :tazz:

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

I did the As-Aware SE. It may have booted a good amount of my problems but they all resurrected themselves when I rebooted the computer as they did before. Any other advice? Microsoft Anti-Spyware's losin' its punch fast. :tazz:
