What was the file that AVG couldn't heal?

Decide whether to keep AVG or Norton, they are not compatible with each other. You may keep Ewido since it's ok with either of those two. But uninstall one of them now (AVG or Norton).

What do you mean you can't click on anything? Links don't work? Only Java websites or any website? If just Java, see if you have the latest Java version installed (1.5...something). If so, uninstall it and install the older 1.4.2 version instead at http://java.sun.com

Sorry it has taken me so long to answer you. I was getting a headache from this thing! :tazz:

I really couldn't tell ya what the name of that file that AVG picked up a few days ago. I can't even look it up in the reports because we took it off the computer. Sorry. As for Ewido, I only have the 14 day trial version!

Here is an example of what I mean about not being able to click on anything. I was trying to play canasta and mahjong on pogo.com. I could not click on a card , the start button, choose a tile, select a seat or click a link. I could move the mouse and click it, but it just acted like I hadn't done a thing. I did have the latestt Java version installed (1.5...something). So, I uninstalled it and installed the older 1.4.2 version from http://java.sun.com. But I am still having problems.

I want to use my computer so bad. I think this is like day six of problems.

I wonder if there are 'leftovers' from the previous problems.

Ewido is free after 14 days :tazz: It will take away the pro features.

Not sure if this will fix it, but fix this in HijackThis:

O16 - DPF: Canasta by pogo - http://game1.pogo.co...a-ob-assets.cab

If problem is still there, go to this Yahoo site and scroll down to Internet Explorer 6 section. Try those setting changes there. Restart.

Did that fix it?

I'm glad Ewido is gonna be usable after two weeks! ;)

The steps that you have given me I had just done before I read this reply. I also cleaned out the cache and temp files. This helps a bunch!
