A relative of mine wanted me to take a look at her pc. I ran ad aware and spybot S&D and removed a bunch of spyware. But there is one problem I can't figure out. She has three images integrated with the background, it doesn't matter which background you choose. I don't know how to remove them. Anyone got a clue? I included a screenshot. The images are circled in red.

Thanks in advance,

Urich

There still may be spyware on her computer. Please go Here and follow the steps. Then post in the Malware forum if you need more help.

I discovered the source of the images.

By right clicking your Desktop and selecting Properties > Desktop Tab > Customize Desktop > Web there is an option to display web pages.

There was three websites checked. After unchecking them the images disappeared and the computer sped up.

I still HIGHLY recommend you go here and check her machine fully. I honestly think there is still spyware on it... because if there were none, you wouldn't see these website links. If you cannot fix all the problems, please post in the Malware forum.

Thanks for your recommendation. I already posted in the malware forum a few days ago and am waiting for a reply. You can find it here. I'll follow whatever advise they give me. I posted about the web option because that removed the images and that was what I was posting about in the first place. I appreciate all the help I receive from you guy. You're great!!!
