Hello,

I searched but didn't see this topic. I have CD's full of images. Some I can not get anything from. Put the CD in and it says it's unreadable or acts like it has never been burned before, asks if it should be initialized. I am sure I was able to read images from this CD after it was burned.

I'm wondering if there are some very good, CD data recovery programs that are worth using. Geeks are always way ahead of me but I'll add some anyway - IsoBuster (is that smart-projects.net?) - CD Data Rescue (naltech.com) - badcopy (jufsoft.com)- Bad CD Repair Pro (Softpedia.com) or the more expensive Stellar Phoenix Data Recovery Software(stellarinfo).

Thanks greatly for your help and suggestions!

Just an idea but if it has lots of scratches then try one of the CD repair kits you can get to repair the scratches then try again.

Scratches are not the problem.
