I say, if the thing is that yoru dad knows what port you're in, switch the cable with another one. Either that or a really long USB, Firewire, or parallel direct connection cable. lol.

A little white lie does not harm much(in certain circumstances , I guess)..

if he could get his hands on a wireless router or even a cheap hub, he could put it between the router and his fathers computer where he couldnt see it, and just plug in to it .that way he would be using the same port his father is using and there wouldnt be any extra port lights .

lol buy a cheap switch, and hide it plug ur dads computer into it and urs that way it will appear that there is only 1 computer as he will not know the switch exists. :tazz:

ps rules are there to be defied as are parents.
