outlook express mail incoming windows xp

When i go to check e-mail on outlook express keep getting the same 7 e-mails, it comes up with errror message, stating 8 of 42 incoming e-mails and that my pop3 server has unexpecedaly terminated service, have checked lines connections and everything it is all the way that it suppoesed to be could you please help me find the problem with this
