Hi there

Yesterday, I suddenly started getting pop-ups and my system ground to a halt. I've run all of the programs listed on the instructions page, and I'm left with just one (as far as I can see) nasty process, but it's generating a random filename and restarts everytime it is deleted/cleaned.

Here's my log, thanks so much in advance

Welcome to the Geeks To Go forum.:tazz:

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite from
here. Install it and
update the program with the latest definitions. Setup the program
following the instructions here and then close it without running a scan.

Rerun HJT,and put a checkmark beside these :-

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe
O2 - BHO: ClickCatcher MSIE handler - {16664845-0E00-11D2-8059-000000000000} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\ReGet Shared\Catcher.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [sqqxxrl] c:\windows\system32\zeobrog.exe r
O23 - Service: Indexing Service (CiSvc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\cisvc.exe (file missing)
O23 - Service: VNC Server Version 4 (WinVNC4) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\RealVNC\VNC4\WinVNC4.exe" -service (file missing)

now close all windows and browsers and click FIX CHECKED

Then boot up in SAFE MODE

Then navigate to and delete these files\folders in BOLD

c:\windows\system32\zeobrog.exe

Then please run Ewido security suite, and perform a full system scan while still in safe mode.

Remove anything found,

Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report

* Click Save report
* Save the report to your desktop.

then reboot normally, and post a new HJT log, and the scan log from Ewido.
