Pleas help, my monitor made a buzz sound and went blank, not coming back on
can this be fixed or do i need a new one.

does the light next to the power button come on? does the monitor work on a nother computer? when the "buzz" happened did you smell anything bad?

Did not smell anything bad, the power light on the monitor is on but the screen is blank. i think i hear a silent humming in the monitor or something like that

Plug it into another computer and see if it works, if it works on another compter then it will be your graphic card that has craped itself (happened to me) if it does not work on another computer then i think your monitor is dead.

P.S. Also test your monitor with another cable...
