Trying to Play NAHAN on XP

Trying to play NAHAN 3D PUZZLES from Global Star on xp. I played it computer with 98 updated to xp and it worked. I tried the compatability mode but it doesn't work unless game is on harddrive. It has no install so copied it to harddrive and tried with comp in 95 and then in 98 and neither worked. When I try to start the game the screen goes black and then I get Error effect_timing(101) hit OK and get Could not perform Shomei_startup(error code 101) hit OK and get Nahan could not execute (error code 101). Any suggestions?
