Hi, I have a generic comp, 3.0 ghz, 2 gigs of ram, 9800xt graphics card, soundblaster live sound card and im running windows xp. Occasionally while playing games like counter-strike and world of warcraft the screen freezes and makes a non-ending bleeping noise. It doesn't go blank just freezes at where it is. Any information on how to solve the problem would be helpful, ty.

Freezing can be caused due to many issues.
U should:
Update all your drivers.
Get latest Windows Updates.
Check if ur RAM is damaged; Download, burn and run memtest86 (bootable ISO version) to scan ur RAM.

When was the last time you cleaned the dust from inside the case? Might be a bit stuffy in there...
