When I try to run media player in XP, it gives an error message "an internal error has occured". It also shows a code 00006503. Also XP gives a pop box with an advice to inform the Microsoft about the problem.

I have tried to upgrade media player 9 with media player 10, once it installs successfully, it again gives the message that it can not run the media player because of some internal error.

Can you help me, as I am not able to view any of the video files.

thanks for your attention.
