Hi,

I have a bery peculiar problem on my PC. It has a 768 MB ram. I have set it's VM size to 2048 mbs. If I run it in safe mode it allocates the same to the system. but when running in normal mode it allocates only 1150 mb of VM although there is a lot of disk space available. I have tried deleting the old page file and then running the system but to no avail. This is given me serious speed problems.
I would appreciate any knid of help that i can get.
Thanks
Ashwini

Howdy and welcome to G2G:

Let Windows manage the paging file/VM itself!! The requirement to set a min/max died with WinME!!!
